Job Description
We are seeking a Corporate Chef with experience in Japanese Cuisine, to be based in Chicago
ORD Unit.
Essential Functions
• Manage selected accounts specific to Chef
• Complete Japanese menu design in timely manner with recipes if needed before deadline
• Writing recipes and methods for all menu items which are new or created for all Japanese
menu
• Support units for presentation, startups, any operational needs if necessary
• Respond to feedback from customer about food quality or food concerns when asked
• Organize presentation with units every time to make sure expectation are clear and goals
can be met
• Responsible for writing requisitions of food when needed for the specific unit that will be
hosting presentation
• Participate in food cost meeting when needed, participate in management meeting, food
shows etc.
Skills and Qualifications
• Culinary or College graduate with a minimum of 5 years or Associates degree or 10 years of
operational experience as an executive Chef in restaurant, hotel or caterer
• Excellent inter -personal skills
• Ability to communicate with customers both internally and externally
• Culinary expertise in Japanese cuisine and cooking
• Experienced and knowledge of process Improvements, recipe writing , menu design, and
problem solving
• Computer competent with Microsoft Office
• Management experience required
• Required to travel internationally when needed and domestic when needed
• Experience in Customer Relations
• Positive attitude, leadership skills, Strong communication skills
• Candidate bilingual in English and Japanese strongly preferred

This position has supervisory responsibility.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office and kitchen environment. This role routinely uses
standard office and kitchen equipment.
Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear cook, prep
cook and be in a hot environment of the kitchen and cold environment of chillers and refrigerator
units. The employee frequently is required to sit and stand for long periods of time; push and pull
up to 60 lbs. and reach with hands and arms.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time exempt position in a 24/7/365 work environment.
Days and hours of work varies based on operational needs and support.
